Now perhaps you remember J&S of nose flute fame? Well it was time for their wedding! Yippeeeee and what a wonderful celebration it was.
I had the honour of being one of the chuppah holders, which is a Jewish tradition, you may have seen it before, but just not known what it was called. It’s the canopy that covers the couple during the ceremony and symbolises the home the couple will be building together. It was also a wonderful spot to be in during the ceremony because the interaction between J&S was very special and I felt honoured to be up there with them.
Both bride and groom looked stunning and I don’t think anything could have wiped the smile off either of their faces. The whole day was wonderful. The speeches were something to be remembered there was plenty of laughter, wonderful sentiments shared and happy tears shed. And then the party got into full swing when the music started and the dance floor was opened. I even managed a spectacular bouquet catch (read completely embarrassing photographs)! We all danced the night away to some epic tunes. It was such a special day and I was so pleased to be able to share this moment with them.
Here’s to a long and happy life together! xxx
PS check the ridiculously huge grins on Juzz and my faces (even though my eye is completely wrinkled!)
