I may have a slight obsession with shoes … this may or may not be evident from my shoe cupboard. When I moved into my flat last year there was a relatively large linen cupboard in the entrance hall area. Since I only own enough linen to fit on 1 shelf and enough pairs of shoes to wear a different one every week of the year I decided to scrap the linen and make this a cupboard dedicated to shoes instead. I hate having to keep all my shoes at the bottom of a cupboard – this means that you end up wearing the same pair of shoes every day for weeks at a time and you forget about those hidden gems you bought last season. So now with my shoe cupboard stocked I can easily see what options I have or I can just walk past open the cupboard and smile at the pretty pairs. Since I have such tiny feet when I find shoes I feel that I need to buy them. Anyone else have a shoe cupboard?
