Burgers at Hudson’s Claremont

A while ago I met some friends for dinner at Hudson’s in Claremont. They call themselves “The Burger Joint” and when you eat a burger its clear they know what they’re doing. Some advice if you are dining at the Claremont spot avoid sitting anywhere near the sliding door – avoid at all costs, otherwise your sanity could be compromised. It seems that on a bitterly cold night even when people need to open a door to either enter or exit they feel no need to close the door, or they make a half arsed attempt at closing it still leaving plenty of room for freezing cold air to sweep past and annoy patrons. Note to anyone who was born in a stable … common courtesy people – close the door if you found it closed …

But back to the burger, there is sooooooo much choice so instead of um-ing and ah-ing about what to eat I decided to eat the first thing that caught my eye. And what a good eye I have! I chose “The Ranch”, read peri-peri chicken breast (tender as can be), topped with cos lettuce, mayo and onion rings. Yum yum yum yum! There wasn’t a lot of talking while the food was being consumed. Everyone enjoyed their meals and there were happy faces all round. This is always a popular spot and there are plenty of people so if you enjoy people watching it’s not a bad place to be either. I’d def recommend them as a yummy delish burger spot!
